Scotland's Highlands and North Coast

We have seen signs everywhere in the UK predicting that deer will leap out in front of your car at any moment. We are usually very good at spotting wildlife but we have seen nothing. We think the Brits are kidding themselves and all of the deer have been shot and eaten or kept in deer parks. But I am happy to report that here, in this sparsely populated highland country, we saw quite a few herds.
